What kind of online citizens do we choose to be? That’s the question at the heart of the first Online Responsibility Day taking place today. The day brings together schools, young people, parents, carers, businesses, charities and online platforms to encourage safer, more respectful online communities. It asks all of us to think about the choices we make online. From protecting personal information and checking what appears in our feeds, to considering the impact of every post, comment and message. For organisations, that responsibility also extends to how digital services and emerging technologies such as AI are designed, governed and used. Responsible AI is an important part of PwC’s focus on building trust in technology.
