About us

Welcome … to the land of Hope&Glory. If we had to give ourselves a label, we’d describe ourselves as a consumer brand and lifestyle agency that helps organisations connect with consumers through the media that influences them most. But we’d rather skip the label and let you decide for yourself. The agency was started by James Gordon-MacIntosh and Jo Carr back in November 2011. After working together at Seventy Seven PR for three years, they decided to strike out and form their own agency. Starting life as a fledgling agency with clients including O2, D&AD, Meantime and the Isle of Man, Hope&Glory now has a team of over 90 and has added to their client roster names such as IKEA, Uber and Uber Eats, Sainsbury’s, PepsiCo, Argos, hmv, Toyota and Lexus, Virgin Media O2, Edrington UK, Carlsberg, Pokémon, The FA, Dacia, CALM, GOSH and many others. The secret to this success? A steadfast belief in some old-school PR values – like knowing the media and what makes a great story – and being able to convert these to every conceivable field of PR, from social and digital media … to experiential …to stunts … or just a bloody hard-working press office. That means that we come up with award-winning creative platforms that are on-brand and ideas that cut-through and deliver coverage.

  • As the grassroots football season kicked off this weekend, we’ve been working with The Football Association to build excitement and emotional connection with the football community. We partnered with social media grassroots icon Steve Bracknall to deliver a rousing, pre-match-style team talk. The idea was to tap into the emotional highs of match day and turn them into a rallying celebration of everything and everyone that makes grassroots football great. The campaign has so far generated over 1.5 million organic video views and 11 days of cumulative watch time, with the grassroots community responding with 100% positive sentiment. Love to see it 🤩

  • About last night… We’re beyond thrilled to have been awarded Creative Agency of the Year and Best Integrated Agency at last night’s Creative Moment Awards. To make the night even better we also picked up Creative sports campaign of the Year and Creative FMCG campaign of the Year for our Fare Game campaign with Carlsberg. We are nothing without our incredible team and clients that deliver outstanding work day in, day out. These awards are for them and we couldn’t be more proud. 🤩

Hiring bias didn't go away, it just got automated. Today, we're launching 'Reject the Rejections' to confront it. Our research with Censuswide revealed 75% of UK job seekers don't know they may have the legal right to request a human review of an automated rejection. Of those who asked for a review, only 28% got one. And 70% of ethnically diverse candidates have altered or hidden something in their CV - their name, faith or origin - for fear software would reject them. If you do nothing else today - watch our new film "Dear [Name]" - it’s built from real lines taken from rejection emails sent to real people. Directed by Amara Abbas, co-written by Y.A Poet (Yasmin Ali), produced by new—land in partnership with Worth Your While, starring Ebenezer Gyau (Black Mirror, County Lines). We're asking businesses and government for two simple things: tell people in the job ad when automation or AI will be screening them, and check those systems for bias. And we're telling job seekers something most don't know: if you're rejected by a machine, you may have the legal right to reject that rejection and ask for a human to review it. It's where the campaign gets its name. Know your rights. Reject the Rejections. HUGE shout out also to the team at Planes Studio, in particular Henry Kirkness & Sophie Rahier for the superb efforts on our brilliant campaign website: www.plu.org.uk/rejections Credits: Project: People Like Us – DEAR [NAME] Production Company: new—land PRODUCTION Director & Writer: Amara Abbas Co-writer: Y.A Poet (Yasmin Ali) Executive Producer: Thor Jacobsen Producer: Sofia Klitgaard & Julie Seifert Production Assistant: Laurits Nørrelund AGENCY — Worth Your While Creative Director/Partner: Tim Pashen Creative Director/Partner: Lukas Lund Design Director/Partner: Carl Angelo Design Director: Mads Jakob Poulsen Copywriter: Tim Pashen Art Director: Lukas Lund Creative/Art Director: Oscar Gierup Chief Strategy Officer: Tali Madsen Account Manager: Christine Gyrsting Lorentzen CEO / Client Lead: Morten Ingemann CLIENT — People Like Us Client / Co-founder: Sheeraz Gulsher Client / Co-founder: Darain Faraz

  • Nearly 15 years since launch, Skyrim remains one of the most played open-world fantasy RPGs. However, Skyrim has been plagued, not just by dragon, beast or man…but by weight limits. To help solve this problem, IKEA partnered with developers Kinggath Creations on a free Creation for The Elder Scrolls® V: Skyrim™ Special Edition, turning the iconic KALLAX storage unit into a fully-fledged, sentient in-game companion - voiced by actor/comedian Matt Berry. This brave new ally is sworn to carry your burdens, featuring unlimited carrying capacity so players can focus on pillaging, dragon slaying, potion brewing and more, without worrying about weight limits. We helped launch the KALLAX to rave reviews, with the likes of @pcgamer_mag stating, “as marketing stunts go, it looks pretty good.” A big shout out to the client and agency teams that brought this to life 🤝

  • Nearly half of comms professionals say AI has made their work more stressful. Yet the same people are turning to it after hours to cope with that stress. Our very own Don Ferguson has written some powerful words for PRWeek on the importance of agencies leading by example when it comes to offering the proper support and guidance to those navigating the increasingly stressful workplace with a human touch, not just a dashboard. Link in the comments as always and if this resonates and you're struggling, CALM's helpline is open 5pm–midnight daily on 0800 58 58 58, or via Livechat/WhatsApp.

  • A little trip down this Summer’s memory lane as we launched wagamama on Uber Eats by creating Drift Deliveries exclusively for those who ordered 🍜 via the delivery platform with GB Drift Champion Ollie Evans at the wheel. Chilli Squid and Edemame has never looked (& tasted) so good… 🔥🔥

  • Unveiling a new era of sport sponsorship – frozen in ice. ❄️🧊 Partnering with O2 (Telefónica UK) and the Belfast Giants to reveal their 2026/27 jersey collection, marking the start of a title sponsorship with the reigning Elite Ice Hockey League champions. We created a giant mystery ice block in Victoria Square, stopping commuters and shoppers in their tracks as it slowly melted away over 48 hours to reveal the new jersey frozen inside 🏒🏒 A massive thanks to a phenomenal client and internal team for making this one happen at break neck speed. Ice block during a heatwave? Completed it ✅✅

  • Absolutely chuffed to announce our latest win, having been appointed by the brilliant team Carlsberg Britvic to lead the brief for premium Italian lager, Birrificio Angelo Poretti. With its rich heritage and exceptional flavour profile, Poretti is a true standout in the world beer category, and we’re excited to work with the team to bring its "Welcome to the Lake" story to life. A massive well done to the pitch team, and cheers to our new partners! We can’t wait to get stuck in.   Thanks too to Elizabeth Wiredu and PRWeek UK for covering the news (link in the comments)
