More than 4,500 investors and non-investors across the UK have already engaged with The Investor Insight Panel. Through direct conversations, interviews and our online survey, we are collecting real-world opinions on what investors genuinely need from financial services providers and how people view the wider investment industry. Importantly, we're also hearing from those who are not currently investing or trading in the markets. Their insights into the barriers, concerns and perceptions that prevent them from starting their investment journey are proving invaluable in building a clearer picture of what needs to change. Digital assets and tokenisation are moving rapidly from industry discussion to practical implementation. The Financial Conduct Authority and Bank of England have set out a shared vision for tokenising UK wholesale financial markets. Meanwhile, major institutions are exploring tokenised funds, bonds, collateral and other real-world assets. For wealth managers, this could mean broader investment access, greater operational efficiency, faster settlement and improved liquidity—but it also raises important questions around custody, CASS requirements, legal ownership, valuation and investor protection.
