The UN-convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance publishes its updated Call to Action to Private Market Managers, raising the bar for GPs operating across private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate. The framework delivers 7 recommendations and 6 guiding principles focused on real economic outcomes — not reporting outputs. Key areas include portfolio decarbonization, physical risk analysis, transition finance, and disciplined management of high-emitting assets. The core message: climate integration must move from commitment into everyday investment practice, with consistency across firm-level decision-making, ownership activity, and public positioning.
