That is why we have renewed our commitment by re-signing L’Autre Cercle’s LGBTQIA+ Charter, reaffirming our ambition to foster an inclusive workplace for all employees. While this initiative originated in France, the principles it promotes are intended to guide our approach across all Coface geographies, while taking local contexts and realities into account. Our commitment is supported by measurable progress. In France, 98% of employees surveyed describe Coface as a workplace that is supportive of LGBTQIA+ people. In addition, 3% report having experienced unequal treatment, compared with 12% in the benchmark survey. These results reflect the positive impact of ongoing awareness initiatives, training programs, management engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion actions implemented across the organization. At the same time, inclusion requires constant vigilance. Coface therefore reaffirms its zero-tolerance policy toward any form of discrimination, and its commitment to ensuring that every employee can be themselves in a respectful and supportive work environment. Can a country reduce its dependence on oil... only to become dependent on AI? Are US tariffs becoming the new normal for global trade? Many businesses were expecting the end of temporary US tariffs to bring some relief. Instead, Washington has introduced new duties of 10% to 12.5% on 60 countries, covering 99% of US goods imports. The change is not just about tariffs themselves. It's about what it signals: trade measures that were initially presented as temporary are evolving into a more durable framework. And with new investigations already targeting sectors such as aerospace, drones, robotics, medical equipment and critical minerals, uncertainty remains a key business challenge. As Marcos CARIAS, PhD, North America Economist at Coface, notes: "The risk of US tariffs remains high, even when a measure is due to expire." 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝟏‑𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 Coface confirms its strong start to the year, reporting net income of €107.8m and an annualised RoATE of 10.9%. 📊 Turnover reached €939.3m, up +0.8% at constant FX and perimeter, supported by resilient client activity (+1.5%) despite a challenging economic environment. 🤝 Client retention remained at a high level of 93.6%, while pricing was slightly negative at -1.3% in a still competitive market. 🧩 Non-insurance activities grew +8.8% to €88.6m, driven by Information Services (+12.0% at constant FX, +19.1% including Cedar Rose), Debt Collection (+31.6%) and Factoring (+3.5%). 🛡️ Profitability remained robust with a net combined ratio of 71.3%, while the net loss ratio improved to 37.4%, down 2.7 percentage points year-on-year. 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬. Building on this strong performance, the Group has decided to prioritise long-term growth in Information Services and continued investment over its initial objective of a 50bps contribution from Business Information to RoATE by 2027. This strategic choice reflects Coface's conviction that accelerating investment today will create greater value over the long term. To maintain its commitment to shareholder returns, the Group intends to compensate for this change through an enhanced 2027 distribution policy, representing approximately four additional payout points, equivalent to the value that would have been delivered by the original 50bps objective.
