[go: up one dir, main page]

This is a tiny project I challenged myself with.
When sleep alludes me, I tend to look through various Youtube tutorials and stumbled upon a WORDLE clone. I gave myself the challenge of converting said tutorial from Javascript to LUA using the PICOTRON game engine.

There's nothing fancy about this little WORDLE clone I created. But please feel free to let me know your thoughts.

[ HOW TO PLAY ]

Type in letters to guess the word.
SPACEBAR -- Start game // Continue game // Enter Word
CMD / CTRL -- Buy a hint
Blue letters are correct but in the wrong place.
Gold letters are correct and in the right place.

Love it, Picotron makes justice to your artwork, it takes me back to childhood.

(I know it's a popular game, but I had to google the instructions :)

Hey man! Thanks. I appreciate it

You probably shouldn't reveal the correct letters to the player until *after* the word is submitted. Makes it pretty easy to win if I can just guess each letter one at a time without sending any words. 😅
Cute art style.

Thanks for checking it out. From what I understand that is how the game works but I could be wrong.
